Every business connected to the Internet should have a firewall protecting their internal network. Surprisingly, many businesses do not have this. You wouldn't leave your office door unlocked, would you? Then why leave your network and all of your critical data open for the taking?

 

 

 

Firewall Management

A Softwink firewall can protect your network from worms, viruses and "hackers". Using ingress and egress stateful packet inspection, we can prevent the bad guys from getting into your network, and private information from leaving it. We have the infrastructure in place to protect your network. This is a standard service for Softwink clients, at no additional charge. If you are not currently a Softwink client, we can still assist you in protecting your network.

Softwink will install a stateful connection firewalling system. The system will be configured free of charge with existing policy and application rules determined by your institution. Softwink will manage the system and make any necessary changes for new applications or port filtering requirements. Any changes will be completed free of charge while the firewall is under management contract. The firewall will be probed for open ports on a quarterly basis and a report will be presented to the appropriate personnel for review.

Softwink firewalls include the Softwink Spamguard, and stateful packet filtering. Additional options include IPSEC on VPN connections (Internet Protocol Security, so you can take over computers from outside your office), Intrusion Detection (IDS) Monitoring, Intrusion Detection Prevention (IPS), and much more.

Basic network security monitoring (not real time) is provided to all Softwink, Inc. customers at no additional cost. Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus/Anti-Worm software is also supplied (see Softwink Spamguard) at no additional cost. Softwink customers can also monitor IDS (Intrusion Detection System) events and bandwidth usage.
